I personally don’t care if someone tells me Merry Christmas. It’s when they get rude and arrogant and assume that their holiday/religion is the only one that exists, or the only one that matters, that I get annoyed.

Its my daugthers birthday same day so its a double whammy of a wonderful day.Church for one and a birthday cake for the other. But all in all it’s a wonderful day for the family. I always make sure i have the day set aside for a family dinner. Its not every weekend these days that I am able tohave the whole family together. So thats a big buzz for me.

Merry Christmas is a religiously specific greeting. Happy Holidays is an inclusive greeting that can refer to any holiday being celebrated.

Gas prices are going to be high no matter what. Do you want to have some good alternatives to oil? Perhaps if we had been charging a couple bucks a gallon tax on gas for the past 20 years and spending that on research into alternatives.

My shopping bill has been the same for 10 years – we eat fresh food everyday and I always use everything up. Lidl often offer half price veg – sometimes I buy direct from a farm shop and I occasionally buy i get one free.

A couple companies that I learned more about at the Brean Murray Carret China Growth Conference include Skystar (NASDAQ:SKBID), Biostar (OTC:BSPM) and Puda Coal (OTC:PUDA). I’m convinced that they are currently trading at fractions of their intrinsic value and sitting in cash instead of these stocks for the next year is a losing deal. I don’t think I can say enough good things about these three companies.
