dont think there is a bubble, these things are trading at 1/10 of what they are worth.. they get closer, but end of year tax selling cuts them back down, or whoever wants to sell/ raise cash/ etc

Why are you guys so bullish on JADA? I know it's selling at ridiculous valuations (28% below NCAV), but do you really like the long term prospects of Jade? Its latest revenues have declined 78% quarter-over-quarter. They explain the drop in their 10-Q by saying, "the decreases in revenue resulted from a decrease in orders of raw jade received by the Company from our five major customers. Furthermore, we suspended shipments of raw jade to two of our customers, due to their failure to pay amounts due for prior shipments."

Sounds pretty bad right? They only really have 5 customers... in 2009 those 5 customers made up 100% of revenues. It's pretty shady hearing that 2 of their 5 customers are having trouble paying.

Also, they received a refund of 8.7mil in the last quarter. Their last 10-K explains "this $8,787,089 was an acquisition deposit paid to Shenzhen Huanyatong Investment Development Co., Ltd. to help the Company find an acquisition target."... They were trying to find an acquistion target in 9 months apparently, and I'm assuming that meant finding a company to acquire them. What's interesting about this investment company is that it's a company CHFI invested in. Anything related to CHFI is a red flag in my opinion.

I think the last few sentences sums it up. You simply can't afford to sacrifice returns and your entire strategy by giving in to investors who can't handle the pressure. The real question is, can you tell right away if somebody has a "Mr. Market" mentality? I guess if the client truly can't understand your strategy then that should be a warning sign. If all they are focused on is your returns, then it won't take long for them to question your strategy once they take a slight dip. What you need to explain is that a decline in price to ridiculous lows is actually a good thing in the long run... explain to them that buying at these extreme lows gives you an even larger margin of safety... if they can't understand that then your strategy isn't suitable for them.

I've noticed these extended pullbacks happen way too often with these stocks. What do you think is the cause for these long droughts? It's hard to believe that these stocks can trade this low for extended periods of time... but I've seen it happen at least 3 times now since 2009. Also, what do you think caused the random bubble in these stocks over the past months (short squeeze? or something different..)?

Hey Glen,

I've been following your articles for a while now... made some huge returns back in March of 2009, as I'm sure you did, mostly from the stocks CHFI, CNOA, CYXN, GHII, etc. Many of these stocks were included in one of your first articles on thestreet.com (http://www.thestreet.com/story/10496234/1/top-10-chinese-microcaps.html). I sold out of most of them before a lot of them took a nose dive.

I've learned through a flat (returns) 2010 that although the companies may have great fundamentals, that it's better to just pick a low-ball price, put in a limit order, and wait it out. I'm very bullish on LTUS, LPH, ENHD, and I'm pretty sure you are as well. What are your thoughts on CNOA, CHCG, GHII, and CHBU? From a simple valuation standpoint they are good, yet future growth is definitely in question... I like the idea of CHCG if they can somehow manage to jumpstart their new business model, but it's definitely speculative. CNOA has been inconsistent and continues to file late with the SEC. GHII has good growth potential, but revenues seem to be spastic and it has no volume. CHBU has caught some fire lately, but I'm not jumping on that wagon. What are your thoughts??
